November 20, 2009-Lisbon, ME- Generations Family Medicine, the family health practice out of Augusta, ME has announced they will be the primary marketing partner with Michael Swett Motorsports Racing Team as the team embarks on a run at the Mid-Coast Super Mini Cup League title. Travis Dunbar will pilot the #44 Generations Family Medicine Toyota Camry for the 2010 season. The team may also compete in selected invitational events such as the Four Cylinder Nationals at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.

This will be Dunbar's first full season of racing for many years, and he like's the team's chances at a very successful campaign. "We are very pleased that Generations Family Medicine will be back with out team for the 2010 season. This will be the third year of our association with Generations Family Medicine, but the first time we have put together a deal to run the entire season fully funded," said Dunbar. "We decided in the middle of a tragic accident in which I lost my crew chief and mechanic to serious life threatening injuries, to build an all new team with good equipment and refocus our efforts on a more local series. We were struggling with trying to run the big cars on a limited basis over the past year, and simply did not have the resources necessary to sustain the extensive travel required to perform at a level we wanted to," said Dunbar.

"We have converted back to the Super Mini Cup Car, which is something we have wanted to do for quite some time now. And now we have a very solid sponsorship that we are confident will make us a top contender in the Mid-Coast Super Mini Cup League," said Dunbar. "Crew Chief Don Lovell would have wanted me to do this. Now that we have secured the marketing support from Generations Family Medicine, we feel we have put together what we expect to be a great race team that will run a great season."

Generations Family Medicine will utilize the marketing program for 2010 to promote their physicians office in Augusta, ME. The GridIron Restaurant and Sports Pub will be an associate sponsor.

Thank you Todd. I am very excited to be back in the mini cups and look forward to racing with all of the guys and gals again. It has been a very rough year for us with the season and then my crew being in that accident. This is a bright light of hope that 2010 will be a better year for us. I also want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this tough time with my crew. They are working and I ask that people continue to pray for Don and Bernie. They are now both out of their coma and are still in ICU, but the longterm prognosis looks good for both of them. They still have a very long road to recovery in front of them, and I surely do miss having them around me all the time. I still go to the hospital to be with them, but it is hard when they cannot talk back and they are stuck in their beds. I hope that atleast by the end of the season they might be able to come out and check out the mini cups. Please continue to pray for them, their families, and the family that suffered the fatalities. I could also use prayer to keep going under all of this stress. It is the toughest thing I have ever been through. Thank you everyone and I look forward to seeing all of you soon at the track.
